New trany in van last yr & now its slipping, TCS light is on & the tran oil is a little burn smell. Advise?

We put in a new transmission in our van last year & about a month ago the TCS light came on and off at times. Now it recently started slipping & the TCS light came on & now we noticed the transmission oil is a little low and smell a little burnt. Could it be ANYYTHING else other than its a bad trasmission? Praying to god it could be something else! Please advise.
