What are your thoughts on the morals of todays society?

Ive come to honestly hate the society we are currently living in. Where are the morals, sense of commitment, pride for hard work, family values?? We now live in a society where it is more exceptable to divorce your spouse over little issues than it is to work through them to solidify the sanctity of marriage. We live in a society where hard work counts for little and the biggest a** kisser gets the promotion. Its almost impossible to have a healthy, striving, comfortable home with only one adult working because everything costs so damn much yet the quality of everything has decreased. We have to be fearful of our children playing outside after dark, going to the park alone, riding to the store with some friends because of all the sick, preverted, and violent people now over populating our planet. It is now common for children to be born to single, very young women with no father willing to step up and be a loving, supportive dad to the child he helped create. Its not exceptable to swat your child on the behind for misbehaving, that will get you child abuse charges, yet kids are being sent to juvenile detention younger and younger because we are suppose to "reason" with them and "disipline them with love" my mom spanked my a** and popped me in the mouth if I talked back or disrespected her and I turned out just fine! By the time the children of this age grow into adults our society will be on the brink of self destruction. We are a society without morals, family values, self worth, or pride and those very few that do possess those things are a minority in a loveless, power-seeking world! What is your take on the path this world is on?
