Is it possible to get a job in TCS(with 54% aggregate) through a reference?

TCS is a major MNC from India;though it recruits engineers at 60% aggregate only but in some colleges takes students upto 55% also.If applying offcampus through a source or reference;is it possible to get a job with an aggregate of 54% in ECE
