I think this is an appropriate forum for this question, Im having trouble understanding richard dawkin`s agend?

a.In a recent publication he seems to be making shoddy use of statistics. he claims that 40% of people `BELIEVE` in evolution, yet he does`nt ask a more important question,which is what percentage of people believe in God. In the old testament the writers believed in evolution and GOD.iF DAWKINS is a militant atheist or a cultural christian or a stalinist-evolutionist or a humanist(all of the above WTF?) why does he claim that believers in spirituality are weak? Sagan`s `Shadows of forgotten ancestors` seems to be alot stronger piece of literature exploring evolution and spirituality. Sagan said he `wasn`t intelligent enough to be an atheist`.
